Youth Instruction
We all understand that children only learn to "not touch a hot stove" by touching it. Its no different with firearms. This short 1 hour class introduces kids to the most important firearm safety rule, "Treat EVERY weapon like its loaded", as well as simple steps they should take if they find a firearm or a friend wants to show them one. We show the effects that different rounds have when hitting a target (Squash)and kids are given the chance to actually fire a pistol (touch the hot stove) in a safe and controlled environment.
Personalized Training
We understand that no one person's needs are the same when it comes to firearms training, So why have a cookie cutter class that might not meet the needs of the student? If you want to learn basic marksmanship, how to safely and effectively draw from a concealed carry or simply care for your firearm, we will tailor a course that provides you with the most relevant training for your time and money. You build the course, and save time and money focusing on only what you need.
Multi State Permit to Carry Class
Our Permit to Carry class meets the requirements for Minnesota's permit and many other state's non-resident permits. We have an in depth and comprehensive training class that will prepare you for what you will encounter, should you need to defend yourself. Its not as simple as you think. We cover many vital topics to include: Use of Force, Use of Deadly Force, Continuum of force, Law Enforcement Encounters, how to choose the right firearm and MN statute 624.714 (MN Citizens' Protection Act). We also provide lunch and a variety of firearms available for rent or to simply take for a test drive.
Repair Services
Our trained gunsmith offers services for cleanings, scope and sight mounting, general repairs, enhancements, and refurbishments.
We accept repairs by appointment only.
** If you are a student shooting on a team and need a repair, contact us and we will get you back into the competition as fast as we can.

Refuse To be A Victim
We never think a crime will happen to us, until it actually does. While sometimes unfortunate things do happen unexpectedly, it is important to be equipped with the knowledge and skills needed for personal safety and crime prevention. Having a personal safety strategy in place and knowing the techniques and tactics you can use to avoid becoming a potential victim can help you live smarter and be safer.
One of the most important steps toward ensuring your own safety is having a personal safety strategy in place before you need it. NRA’s Refuse To Be A Victim® program teaches the tips and techniques you need to be alerted to dangerous situations and to avoid criminal confrontation.
Seminars are held across the nation and are open to individuals of all ages. Today, thousands of federal, state and local law enforcement officials and civilians from across the nation utilize this popular program in their crime prevention and community policing initiatives to help protect their communities.
Corporations, educational institutions, and community centers have also adopted the program. All told, more than 170,000 people have benefited from these seminars.
Eddie Eagle
The Eddie Eagle GunSafe® program is a gun accident prevention program that for over 30 years has helped keep kids safe. The program was developed by a task force made up of educators, school administrators, curriculum specialists, urban housing safety officials, clinical psychologists, law enforcement officials and National Rifle Association firearm safety experts. It began in 1988 with one mission: teach children four simple, easy to remember steps so they know what to do if they ever come across a gun. In 2015 the NRA introduced a fresh, new Eddie and added some friends—his Wing Team. Though Eddie has evolved, his mission has not. Eddie and his friends are still focused on telling children that if they see a gun, they need to Stop! Don’t touch. Run away. Tell a grown-up.
